March 1996, by Mary Morken:
This issue carries the second in the series on business and technology by Brian Taylor. He discusses analyzing services and costs in detail before bidding for an account, and states that years of experience, references, reputation and expertise will be important in winning bids. The article on technology defines the term "systems", comparing computer systems to kitchen systems. April's topic will be telecommunications.

An article on errors and omissions insurance by Diane Heath presents AAMT's case for recommending it in the face of clients requiring it and the liabilities of using faxes and computer transmission of documents.

Clint Martin recommends that MTs graduate to Windows and MS Word to be ready for the future. With some rollicking good humor, an error-finding contest and a hefty list of new terms and drugs, Jennifer has done it again. This is a journal you can count on for valuable information in "paper reality" even if you are an online researcher.
